Best Goalkeeper Profiles
Hendro Kartiko is still a well known goalkeeper in Indonesia. Perhaps he is the best one in the League so far. However, his appearances during 2007 season is not fascinating anymore. His age has affected his reflects and capability. The big question is, Who will be the number one Goalkeeper of Indonesia Team in the future? There are some candidates listed as follows.
Syamsidar is a young goalie guarding the final defense of PSM Makasar. He is often drafted as the second goalkeeper of Indonesia team. His reflect is very good and he makes many saves to keep PSM Makasar as one of the most competitive team in the eastern region. Unfortunately, he often performs under his best performance and turn supporters of Indonesia team angry. Somehow, PSM supporters believe he is the right candidate to replace Hendro Kartiko in the future
Fery Rotinsulu is a former Indonesia U-23 goalkeeper. He was trained in Holland for couple of months before Asian Games 2006. Unfortunately, he was not drafted as the first goalkeeper in the Asian Games 2006. Local reporters and soccer analyst consider his performance as the first goalkeeper of Sriwijaya FC is amazing as a youngster. The only problem is, defenders of Sriwijaya FC often perform overlapping attack and leaving Ferry alone at the defense line.
Markus Horison is now the most favored Goalkeeper in Indonesia. Many people nominated him as the best goalkeeper for first half season of 2007 Indonesia League. He is the goalkeeper of PSMS Medan, and he has shown that he is the best one through excellent performance at Bang Yos cup , a pre-season game and won the cup for two consecutive years. Many soccer analyst consider Markus Horison as the best goalkeeper to replace Hendro Kartiko. He was only conceded nine goals in the last seventeen games of Indonesia League. It makes PSMS Medan as the least conceded team in the Indonesia League 2007.
Tema Mursadat is the new rising star after his team, Persib Bandung, is toping the west region of first half of Indonesia League 2007. His best performance was during a big match against Persik Kediri last 11/03 . He makes great saves and bring his club to the top of the west region. Unfortunately he has poor temper control. He was suspended for three games after having a quarrel on the field with opposite players.
Donovan Partosoebroto. Nobody ever heard of this young goalie unless sport reporters and European scouts. He is half Indonesian and half Dutch. He was once disappointed to soccer quality in Indonesia when he saw a referee attacked by soccer players. He was recruited by Ajax Amsterdam when he was 12 years old. His father rejected the offer from AZ Alkmaar and FC Utrecht at the same time. He is 18 years old and playing for Ajax Amsterdam A1 team now. Unfortunately, there is no complete record of A1 games in Dutch league so far. Ajax A1 is the final phase of youth level before the player is selected as the goalkeeper for the first team or amateur team. Hopefully he will be the best goalkeeper of Indonesia National team in the future.
